- Oriella Releases Third Annual Digital Journalism Study
Oriella PR Network just completed a survey of almost 775 journalists in 20 countries to see how digital media has changed the nature of news-gathering. The study finds that journalists are gradually adapting to juggling the demands of web and print media.
Our third annual survey, which adds the US, Brazil and Eastern Europe this year, uncovers growing uncertainty over the future of print titles and increased interest in paid-content models. Over 50 percent of the journalists surveyed believe their titles will shift to online-only. Meanwhile, publications are experimenting with smartphone 'apps', micro-payments and paid e-reader content to boost online revenues. - Oriella Announces First Year Milestones
The Oriella PR Network last month completed its first year of operation. New agency partners have been added in France and Poland during the year and several new marketing initiatives for 2008 are announced. New agencies joining the network in 2007 include Ballou PR and Clipping-TU in France, as well as MDI Strategic Solutions in Poland which extends the network’s reach into Eastern Europe. All three are fast-growing, independent agencies with specific expertise in the technology sector.
